There are a handful of athletes you may want to ever challenge.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was able to exact revenge against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sundays.
Mahomes got the best of the AFC West matchup that had a little more spice to it after the Raiders went viral for playing around with a Kermit the Frog puppet that was dressed as Mahomes before the season began at training camp.
When asked about it during the summer, Mahomes said, “It’ll get handled when it gets handled.”
The whole Kermit the Frog thing stems from what Mahomes’ voice sounds like. At Super Bowl media day, he was asked about his voice sounding like the cartoon character.
The reigning Super Bowl champs moved to 7-0 after beating the Raiders on the road at 27-20.
Mahomes is now 32-5 against AFC West opponents and 19-1 on the road. Specifically against the Raiders, Mahomes moves to 11-2 overall.
Mahomes finished the game 27 of 3 with 262 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end Travis Kelce also caught his first touchdown of the season.
Kansas City’s defense held Las Vegas to 228 yards and sacked quarterback Gardner Minshew five times. The Chiefs will look to remain undefeated next week on Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
