McCaffrey finished the 2023 NFL season with a league-leading 1,459 rushing yards and 2,023 yards from scrimmage. He also led the NFL in touches (339) and rushing and receiving touchdowns (21).
In McCaffrey’s absence, the 49ers have been operating with Jordan Mason as their lead back. Mason re-aggravated a shoulder injury in San Francisco’s Week 8 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The 49ers are 4-4 to start the 2024 NFL season. With McCaffrey potentially taking the field in Week 10, the San Francisco offense is primed for an immediate boost.
