The Dallas Cowboys are currently taking on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football. San Francisco has the edge after the third quarter with a 27-10 lead. It will be interesting to see if Dallas can start an improbable comeback in the fourth.
Cowboys’ Owner Jerry Jones Has Heartbreaking Family Incident Occur During 49ers Matchup
A vehicle accident occurred on Sunday involving members of Jerry Jones’ family, and some of them appear to be injured:
A vehicle carrying Jerry’s son, daughter, and grandson was reportedly struck by a rising barricade outside of the San Francisco 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium ahead of tonight’s NFC ‘Sunday Night Football’ showdown.
“The second vehicle in the Jones Family caravan was struck by a rising barricade outside of Levi’s Stadium. Charlotte Jones, Jerry Jones Jr. and Shy Anderson Jr. were in the vehicle.
Charlotte and Jerry Jr. were both evaluated by team medical staff at the stadium and were then able to move on to the visiting owners suite for the game,” The Athletic’s Jon Machota reported.
According to Machota’s colleague, Mike Silver, there are injury fears despite Jones’ family being cleared to watch the game.
“The fear–according to members of the Jones family–is that Charlotte may have suffered a rib injury, and that Jerry Jr. has a head injury,” Silver noted.
It was shocking to see the Jones family going through such a tumultuous time during Sunday Night Football. The football world will certainly come together to show their support.
